Frequently Asked Questions
What do we bring to the first class?
Swimsuit, towel, swim diaper (for children under 3), and water shoes if you have them. We provide all kickboards and float equipment. Leave the puddle jumpers and floaties at home — we teach without them so children develop real water safety skills.
How do I know which program is right for my child?
Age is the primary guide: 6 mo–2 yr → Tiny Splashers, 2–4 yr → Little Fish, 5–8 yr → Junior Sharks, 9–12 yr → Academy Swimmers. If your child has prior swim experience and might be ready to skip ahead, give us a call at (555) 555-0100 and we’ll do a quick assessment at no charge.
What happens if we miss a class?
We offer one make-up class per month at no extra cost. Just call or email us at least 24 hours before your missed class to reserve a make-up spot. Make-ups are subject to availability and expire 30 days after the missed lesson.
Is there a registration fee?
There is a one-time $25 registration fee per family (not per child). Monthly tuition starts at $89/month depending on the program. There are no long-term contracts — you enroll month to month with 30 days’ notice to cancel.
Can I watch my child’s lesson?
Absolutely — we have a parent viewing area with seating along the pool deck. For Tiny Splashers, one parent is in the water with the child. For all other programs, parents are welcome to watch from the viewing area each session.
